He has the size and skill to be a solid NHL forward. In addition, even though he did not get an invite to Team USA for the World Juniors, he did not let that get in his head.

One thing that has made Jones a great commodity in London is his ability to perform late in the game, especially when he was scoring key goals to secure wins for the Knights. He played a key role when they had Marner, Dvorak, Tkachuk and Juolevi out of the lineup, which is not an easy task to accomplish.

With more playing time, Jones can show his skill more, but the fact he is behind these high quality players on the depth chart means he has to really work hard to earn ice-time. With more playing time in the OHL and time to develop, he could be a player that an NHL team looks to in big moments and needs a goal to win the game.

The fact the Knights could have three players go in the top 10 of the 2016 draft shows how well the team can find talent. Max Jones is a stretch as a top 10 pick and some have him as a potential player who could fall as low as 20-30.
