When the Blue Jays acquired Tulowitzki from the Colorado Rockies he made an immediate impact. But after a collision with Kevin Pillar early in September it was feared that he could have been out for the season. After some time he made his way back to the lineup and while he was not hitting well he made sure to come up big in the postseason. In sixth inning of Game 3 the Blue Jays were looking to one of its members from Mount Crushmore to put the game out of reach. With two on and a 3-2 count Tulowitzki launched a massive home run to give the Blue Jays new life heading into Game 4 and eventually Game 5 with four runs batted in.

However Tulowitzki’s impact does not end at the offensive side of the game, as he made a tremendous play to keep the score tied in Game 2, although the Blue Jays lost the game. Hopefully he can continue to put together some hits and defensive plays down the stretch, especially against a Royals team that will take advantage of errors and struggling hitters. Expect Tulowitzki to be up to the challenge especially after the last time these teams played each other in August.
