What hasn’t been said about Thon Maker? The fifth year senior is not only the top prospect to come out Toronto, he might be the top recruit in the world by the end of this season. He made twitter explode and enjoyed a little shine on ESPN for this dismantling of five star recruit Dennis Adebayo.
But anyone who has been following the big man’s career always knew he had this type of dribbling ability in him. Add on his three point shooting, a few more pounds of muscle compared to his junior year, and an ever improving post game, and you have a guy that could possibly live up to all of the video game style comparisons people have been making about him since he came on the scene over two years ago.
If you have a chance to go see him up at Athlete Institute this year up in Orangeville, I suggest you do so. If Maker stays healthy, the next chance you might get to see him in Toronto will be at the Air Canada Center in an NBA uniform in 2017.
