2. October looks to be very “winnable”

Home to the New York Giants, at the Tennessee Titans, home to the Cincinnati Bengals and on the road across the pond in London, England to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That’s the Bills’ schedule in October.

Can you say 4-0?

Alright, I’ll slow my roll here, but as you can see, the schedule is not daunting by any means.

Yes, the Giants are coming into Buffalo with some extra rest off a Thursday game. But that still doesn’t change the fact that those four teams combined for a 21-42-1 record last season, with three of those teams losing ten games. Heck, even the run defence was terrible on three of these four teams, as the Jaguars (No. 27), Giants (No. 30) and Titans (No. 31) all ranked near the bottom of the league. The Bengals didn’t finish much better either, ranking as the No. 20 rush defence last season allowing 116.2 rushing yards per game.

Those poor rush defences should bode well for Rex Ryan and Greg Roman’s “ground-and-pound” attack.
