Well, with December nearly over, I think it’s safe to say this has been an eventful 12 months in the world of Toronto sports. And as is often the case at this time of the year, various media outlets have been handing out their own awards.
Along those lines, it’s only right that Tip Of The Tower should do the same. In particular, we wanted to consider who has been the top Toronto sports team of 2014?
In my book, this means picking which Toronto team has been the most successful on the field this year. However, I realise a lot of people have different definitions of what qualifies as being the best.
As such, I thought it only fair that we get you – the readers – involved. That is, of course, assuming that you actually want to be part of the process.
In any event, we’re going to present you with the case for each of Toronto’s seven professional teams. (Admittedly, some arguments are less persuasive than others.) At the end, simply vote for who you think is the top team of 2014.
