Xavier Rathan-Mayes, Florida State Seminoles (Scarborough, ON)

After being academically ineligible last season, Rathan-Mayes will finally have a chance to showcase his skills this season. Widely regarded as a top-40 recruit last year, Rathan-Mayes is an athletic combo guard that can score in bunches.

For a Seminoles team that struggled offensively last year, he will be a refreshing addition that should inject some life into their offence. Equipped with a great outside shot, Rathan-Mayes is a 6-3 guard who can not only talk trash with the best of them, but can also create his own shot off the dribble.

Having played alongside former NCAA standout’s Andrew Wiggins and Tyler Ennis at CIA Bounce in Brampton, expectations are high for the offensively gifted Scarborough native.

Honourable Mentions: Daniel Mullens, New Mexico State; Denzell Taylor, Old Dominion; Dinjiyl Walker, Oklahoma; Dylan Ennis, Villanova; Duane Notice, South Carolina
