Toronto Maple Leafs Weekly Report: Trending in the Right Direction

The Toronto Maple Leafs did not get off to the best of starts this season, going 3-4-1 in their first eight games. However, this past week they went on a three-game winning streak, beating the Buffalo Sabres, Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks. With this recent winning streak it looks like things are trending upwards for the Leafs, but the team has to proceed with caution, meaning they cannot make any rash decision based on a couple of games, given how they started the season. Let’s look at the past three games this week to better understand where the Leafs game started to improve.
