In Conclusion…
The New York Rangers don’t score goals easily. Relying on Martin St. Louis, Mats Zuccarello, and Rick Nash to carry the load on offense is simply not enough to compete in the East.
But, the Rangers possess the puck well. They have an elite star in goal. And, this team has playoff experience and momentum heading into the new season.

With strong goaltending, strong leadership, and the puck on their sticks more often than their opponents’, the Rangers are a lock for a playoff spot and maybe a playoff run as well.
Predicted Standings: 42-30-10, sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Loss in second round of the playoffs.
