Dalton Pompey is another Jays prospect to make the jump from A ball to the Majors in just one short season. He’s posted .317/.392/.469 avg.’s with 43 steals this year in the minors. The switch hitter should provide a nice boost off the bench and will probably get a look for a few starts if things continue to go south in the playoff race. He’s another one that has earned a longer look in the spring.
