With the Summer League providing a summit for the Toronto Raptors and other NBA teams to learn new things and skills, here are five things we discovered this year.

Summer league is a lot like summer school. Some people use it as a way to catch up with their peers, while others use it as an opportunity to get ahead.

In the summer you get to meet people from different schools, taking in experiences and gaining friends you never would have encountered during the regular school year. Coaches, GM’s and players without a team all get to rub elbows and it gives those outside the league a chance to really prove them selves.

There is also a great deal of learning that happens in the condensed time of summer school and there were some definitive lessons that could be taken away from this year’s Toronto Raptors run. Here are five things we learned.
