As the Toronto Maple Leafs prepare for their first round series against the Washington Capitals, here are five players who will need to have an impact if they want to move on.

The odds are stacked against the Toronto Maple Leafs as they prepare for their David vs Goliath series against the Washington Capitals. This is not going to be an easy match up for the Leafs against the President Trophy winners and a strong team in all areas.

The Leafs have talent to be an exciting team to watch in the playoffs, but they will need all hands on deck. Frederik Andersen and Auston Matthews will be the most important players in the series because if they’re not at their best, it will be over quickly.
