Toronto Blue Jays: Munenori Kawasaki is "Little Papi"

If you haven’t figured it out already, I take every available opportunity to promote the Toronto Blue Jays’ Munenori Kawasaki(Mind you, that doesn’t make me particularly different from a lot of the local media.)

Anyway, today is no different. The always entertaining Kawasaki talked about a variety of topics, including Big Papi, his teammates and even Michael Jordan:

Is it just me, or did Barry Davis of Sportsnet almost snap at Kawasaki near the start of the interview? Let’s just say if he had done that, he probably would have had to answer to this guy:

I can only hope David Ortiz wasn’t making a pitch for Kawasaki to join him in Boston.

Of course, the Boston Red Sox slugger is more than welcome to join his buddies Jose Bautista, Jose Reyes and Edwin Encarnacion here in Toronto.
