Toronto Raptors Assign Dwight Buycks to D-League

Toronto Raptors have assigned point guard Dwight Buycks to their D-League affiliate, Bakersfield Jam. This will be Buycks’ second stint in the D-League this season, reported by RealGM.

In his first time around with the Jam, the 24 year old Buycks played 5 games for the team, averaging 12.4 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 4.0 APG, 1.4 SPG, shooting .489 FG%.

Undrafted out of Marquette University in 2011, Dwight Buycks signed a 2-year deal with the Toronto Raptors in the 2013 offseason after playing his 2012-2013 season in France for the BCM Gravelines. Buycks is still looking to find consistent playing time in the NBA, having appeared in just 13 games for the Toronto Raptors this season.

In 9.5 MPG, Buycks is averaging 3.2 PPG, 1.5 RPG, 0.8 APG, 0.5 SPG, and shooting .341 FG% on the Raptors.

Buycks will remain on the Toronto Raptors’ roster, on the team’s inactive list.
