Jose Reyes raps on Sportsnet

Blue Jays’ shortstop, Jose Reyes showcased his talent off the diamond on Sportsnet Connected Monday morning with Caroline Cameron and James Cybulski. As he laid down a 30 second rap in his native Spanish (from his song No Hay Amigo) with James Cybulski providing the beat.

Jose Reyes, created and financed his own record label—EL7 in 2011 (if you’ve ever wondered what the symbol Jose Reyes and his Blue Jays teammates signal on the field in the form of a 7, it is to represent Reyes’ label). And has produced his own brand of reggaeton music with singles such as Bate Roto (broken bat), No Hay Amigo (There is no friend), and Del Envidioso Me Rio (Envious of Me Rio).
