The Toronto Blue Jays annual ‘State of the Franchise’ held for season ticket holders will take place Wednesday (January 29th) evening at 6:30 PM at the Rogers Centre.
This gives a chance for fans and long-time supporters of the franchise to ask questions and interact with those who are in charge of making the decisions.
President Paul Beeston, General Manager Alex Anthopoulos, and Manager John Gibbons will all be on hand to take part.
The State of the Franchise will be streamed online on bluejays.com.

The Toronto Blue Jays probably have a lot of fans wondering what to expect from this team. This event will be interesting to see unfold, as the serious questions surrounding the team must be answered. There are many pressing issues on my mind but one stands out.
Given how the Jays rotation was sub-par last season, it might be a good idea for them to pursue a starting pitcher who could reliably be called on as their number one guy. In a previous article, I outlined the differences between two solid pitchers that the Jays have been connected with in Ubaldo Jimenez and Ervin Santana.
Given how big of a splash Anthopoulos made last off season, it is a little disheartening to see the lack of moves that were made this off season. Hopefully the Toronto Blue Jays will be able to pull together with the roster they have now, and climb out of the basement of the AL East.
Tip of the Tower will have all the news and notables from the event following its conclusion. In the mean time, you can check out the first part of our Countdown to Spring Training series, where the Toronto Blue Jays outfielders are analyzed.
