Maple Leafs

The Maple Leafs are hopeful that Joffrey Lupul and Nikolai Kulemin will be able to suit up for the team on their west coast swing. If they do it will be the closest to their projected roster the team has had all season, and may actually be better off with Tyler Bozak out and Nazem Kadri on the top line. [Toronto Star]

Speaking of Nazem Kadri, Tyler Bozak’s injury is forcing Randy Carlyle to give him the minutes he deserves, if he continues his strong play on the top line could he see time there even when Bozak returns? [The Globe & Mail]

Buffalo Bills

Drew Brees made a lot of fantasy owners happy with his 5 TD performance on Sunday against the Bills. This was a measuring stick game for the Bills and they simply couldn’t cut it with the big boys. [ESPN]

Bills fans saw an awful lot of Jerry Hughes in Sunday’s loss to the Saints, and not always for good reasons. That and more in this week’s snap count report. [Buffalo Rumblings]

Raptors

Dwayne Casey doesn’t appreciate the lack of respect that the Toronto Raptors are being dealt and is using it as motivation for his team. Many around the league have lumped the Raptors in with the “tankers” this season, and will be surprised by the talent the Raptors field (at least in the starting line up). [Toronto Star]

It was a cold, wet, miserable day in Toronto but that didn’t stop Amir Johnson from taking part in the Toronto “Zombie Walk”. Johnson continues to endear himself to the people of Toronto because he’s awesome. [FanSided.com]

Blue Jays

The St. Louis Cardinals have some crazy depth at starting pitching. The Toronto Blue Jays need a starting pitcher. Could this be a match for a little offseason dance? [Jays Journal]

Super Manager John Farrell is showing all of baseball that he may not be the genius the Red Sox record made him out to be with some curious decisions thus far in the World Series. [Toronto Star]
