Maple Leafs

The Leafs results are now reflecting the state of their game, so they’re looking to rebound against the Anaheim Ducks tomorrow night in the last game of David Clarkson‘s suspension. [Toronto Star]

The Maple Leafs have an exciting week ahead with the return of David Clarkson from suspension, and a handful of games on the docket. [Editor In Leaf]

Carter Ashton, David Broll and Trevor Smith were reassigned to the Marlies this weekend in order to save some precious cap space in between games for the big club, lucky for these guys they got no rest with a Marlies game on Sunday afternoon in Toronto. [TSN]

Buffalo Bills

The Bills finally beat a divisional opponent handing the Miami Dolphins their third straight loss Sunday thanks in part to a key sack late in the game by Mario Williams. [ESPN]

A great start, an iffy middle, and a beautiful ending, the Bills win against the Dolphins was certainly entertaining, but how did everyone grade out? [Buffalo Rumblings]

Raptors

Tyler Hansborough may not be the prettiest NBA player to watch play the game of basketball, but the toughness he brings to the floor is a “special talent” . [Toronto Star]

Raptors Republic takes to rank the dying breed of the NBA 5. Centres just don’t exist like they once did in the NBA, although the Raptors have managed to secure a pretty good one in Jonas Valanciunas. [Raptors Republic]

Two years ago the Raptors were a very solid defensive team…last season? Not so much. Can they find the defensive intensity needed for this roster to win? [Raptors HQ]

Blue Jays

With second base a black-hole of production for the Toronto Blue Jays this season, Brandon Phillips would be a logical target for the team, but does going after the Reds 2B really make sense? [Jays Journal]

Oh the Oakland A’s want to trade an oft injured pitcher? I bet the Toronto Blue Jays will stay away from a risk like that right…RIGHT!?! [NBC Sports]

If like me, you’re disgusted by the thought of a Cardinals v. Red Sox World Series, you pretend it has been cancelled due to some plague like illness and instead focus on Arizona Fall League. [Jays Journal]
