Maple Leafs

Morgan Rielly and Carter Ashton are both on the Leafs roster as of opening night. Both may be destined for a demotion, but it’s nice to see them get a chance. [Toronto Star]

Buffalo Bills

Blue Jays

The Blue Jays have a lot of work to do this offseason, but one thing is for sure, they should never ever follow Richard Griffin’s advice. Bumping payroll to $140-million isn’t something they have to do, it’s something that shouldn’t be stopped from happening if they need that money to fill holes. Don’t spend money for the sake of it. The Raptors may not be changing their name, but they are changing the logo and colours with the help of Drake. No name change is disappointing, but a redesign could prove fruitful. [Toronto Star]
