The Toronto Blue Jays welcome their fellows in disappointment the Los Angeles Angels to the Rogers Centre to kick off a 3-game set Tuesday night.
The Blue Jays are coming off of a 3-game sweep of that group of bums masquerading as a Major League franchise in Minnesota, and have won 8 of their last 10 games. This latest Jays surge will likely be enough to ensure that they will not end up with a protected draft pick in the upcoming draft, which may in turn affect their strategy in free agency.
The Angels have managed to waste yet again waste the greatness of Mike Trout whom is in the midst of yet another historically great season. Despite his all around fantastic play, the Angels may be the only team in the Majors to be having a season as frustrating as the Blue Jays.

A pretty ugly looking line up if you’re a Jays fan that has awoken from a coma and was still expecting to see the roster the Jays had assembled in the offseason. At least we still have Reyes and Lawrie batting, and Goins has been fun so far…right?
I distinctly remember looking at the schedule before the season and being excited for Mike Trout and the contending Angels coming to Toronto to face a Blue Jays team in the middle of a playoff race….oops.
