Bills Lose Late: Twitter Reacts

The Buffalo Bills lost in heartbreaking fashion Sunday afternoon to the New England Patriots 23-21. Stephen Gostowski kicked a 35-yard field goal with just 5 seconds remaining to seal the victory for the Patriots.

It was yet another defeat snatched from the jaws of victory for the Bills, something that has happened far too often in their recent history. Naturally, Buffalo Bills fans came out en mass to voice their displeasure on Twitter:

To be far, they don’t always blow it at the end, sometimes they get blown out!

As Martin Luther King Jr. said “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope”…although he clearly wasn’t a Bills fan

I literally laughed out loud at this, it would have been funnier if it was in New England and intentional though.

They didn’t need to find a way, the Bills have already found every single way to blow a close game, it’s just about returning to the scene of past crimes.

You know what they say, the only 3 certainties in life are death, taxes, and the Bills blowing it.

As a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, I can tell you that the gut wrenching feeling can get much worse.

Hey, one of these days the Bills are going to pull a late win out and…I’m sorry I couldn’t finish that with a straight face.

Heart wrenching defeat, Lots of positives moving forward but nobody feels like talking about them today. Give it time gailey was on right track but didn’t have the qb. Nix set them up for a bright future. Has anyone else noticed that every iffy call goes against bills and every blatant one on other teams is ignored. Sounds like sour grapes but there is truth to it, Jerry Hughes and Mario Williams were tackled rushing Brady 3-5 times yet never called and that interception call that hit the ground and bounced into patriots players arms was the second worst call of the weekend, 1st was the Calvin Johnson .td taken away and 3rd was geno smith late hit what a joke, his foot wasn’t down when he got pushed.
