The New England Patriots head into a sold out Ralph Wilson Stadium to face EJ Manuel and the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 of NFL action. The Patriots are the heaviest favourites in the NFL for Week 1, but the Bills always play the Patriots tough.

Manuel faces a daunting task in his first career start in the NFL, facing division powerhouse New England. The Patriots have seen an almost unprecedented (in the Brady era) turnover on offense, with nearly all of Tom Brady‘s favourite weapons out-of-town or out of the lineup for a variety of reasons.

Bills star running back C.J. Spiller is saddled with sky-high expectations heading into 2013 after rushing for a 1,244 yards, while rushing for an outstanding 6 yards per carry. As the Bill’s best and most dynamic player, Spiller is going to need to have a huge game. Spiller’s effectiveness could force the Patriots to bring a safety into the box and open up some room for Manuel and Stevie Johnson to work their magic.

Perhaps the most daunting task will be containing Brady and his revamped offense with both Jairus Byrd and Stephon Gilmore out of the lineup. The key to this game for the Bills defense will be to take the pressure of off their limping secondary by getting the pressure on the QB. The Bills pass rushing Williams, Kyle and Mario, will be the defensive keys to this game.

So there it is, football is back…GO BILLS!
