New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley was seemingly having his way with the Buffalo Bills defense when this happened:
Ridley, who was quite obviously intimidated by the 12th man known as the Bills Mafia slips, trembles, drops the ball, which is then picked up by safety DaNorris Searcy.
Searcy then returned the fumble 74 yards for a touchdown, to pull the Bills within 3 midway through the third quarter. The return highlighted an up and down first half for the Bills defense that was on one hand able to get the occasional pressure on Tom Brady, but on the other couldn’t keep the Patriots off the board
No word on whether Ridley has fully recovered from the crippling fear in his soul that led to the fumble.
